A little history about us
Printers Oil Supply Co., Inc. (POSCO) is New England's oldest family run manufacturer of graphic arts supplies. We have been manufacturing and distributing chemicals to the graphic arts and printing industries for over 100 years
In the year 1898, Wallace “WM” Fiske established the company in Wilmington, MA. After taking a train to Everett, MA each morning he would go to his stable and pick up his horse and buggy which he used to deliver kerosene and lubricating oils to the many print shops in Boston.
In 1930, Wallace’s son Edwin L. Fiske, known as “Larry” to his many friends and customers, came to work for him. In 1959, Larry’s son William “Bill” Fiske (POSCO’s current President) began to work for POSCO as a truck driver. The father and son team designed and erected a new manufacturing and storage facility on Ballardvale Street in 1962. This has been the location of POSCO ever since.
In 1986, Bill’s son William H. Fiske (current Vice President) "Bill" came to work for the company, and again a father and son tandem was created. Together, in 1996, they completely renovated the existing facility. This included new, state of the art mixing rooms, drumming machines, etc. along with a new fleet of trucks.
Today, POSCO continues to be a family run business loaded with family traditions. We continue to modernize our facility allowing us to offer you even more products and services.
